'The Mememe's'

There's a band in Cardiff called "The mememe's". I am irritated by the apostrophe. It's wrong isn't it?

Well... it could be a shortened version of the "mememeandsomeoneelses" But probably not...

I got an answer...

"it's because there's another band called the mememes and the apostrophe s actually is a reference to their music so - the Mememe's music???? so it is a posessive form of the apostrophe"
