I love my ds's school but.....

....this week we have had a newsletter telling us that the school will be closed for a "Bi-Election" (I think they should vote in the same elections as the gay and straight people, don't you?)

AND I have discovered that the world is divided into hot, cold and "tepid" zones! TEPID - where in Columbus' name did TEPID come from?!

Teachers do this on purpose, to keep you focussed and on your toes. Obviously bi-elections will need to be held twice, so that they can try out both options.

I do believe that tepid is another words which is often used for the temperate Zones...

FAQ - really? I thought tepid only applied to water and so on - not climate? Is it an legitimate alternative? Don't tell me I'm on my high horse for nothing!

Not use commonly but have seen it used.......mind you it could be an Americanism, so perhaps that's not such a good thing
