Why do some people write Iv instead of I've?

Why oh why can people manage to write I'm but not I've, writing it as Iv? It's bloody weird.

My autocorrect used to make me do this but I'm enough of a pedant that I corrected it so the auto correct now behaves as it should so maybe some people just don't check stuff.

They do it mostly because they think it's correct, like all of the other mistakes that are endlessly mentioned

They either weren't taught correct SPAG or have learning difficulties or don't care if they make a typo while using a device

I'm a bit of a stickler for being correct but my phone is old and has a cracked screen, sometimes it's too much effort for me to try and type things correctly.
