Oh clever people, can I borrow you for 2 mins to help me word a brief email please?

I am sending DHs C.V around some companies but unsure if they have vacancies so how can I word it? i.e please find enclosed my c.v if any positions become avaliable (sp?! ) etc. etc. but something that actually makes sense Thanks so so so so much if you can help And would I put yours sincerely or faithfully ??? I get very confused when doing this type of thing.

And what would I put in the subject line? \i don't want them to just click delete

How about:
"I am very interested in working for your organisation, and I am attaching my cv. I would be very grateful if you would consider me if you have any positions available, or if any become available in the future"?

Depending on the job you might want a bit more in there about why you're interested, why you're the right person and so on. I hate covering letters or emails that don't give any further information - I like people to tell me a bit about themselves and why they want to work for me.

Yours sincerely only if you know their name e.g. "dear Mr xx", otherwise yours faithfully. To be honest in an email I think either of them are probably a bit over the top - I could live with a sign-off along the lines of "I look forward to hearing from you shortly" followed by your name.

In the subject line: Application for xxx position.
