Is this a new thing?
I’ve heard it increasingly over the past 3 or so years, but have recently started a new job and everybody in the office uses it at every opportunity and it grates every time.
Examples:
Steve is now very kindly going to speak to the issues faced over the past week.
I can’t speak to the overall trend, but certainly in my experience that has been the case.
What about the client experience, does that speak to improvements that have been implemented?
Over the course of the afternoon I’d like to speak to the possibility of improving costs, where possible.
I just find it so jarring.
