Flyer I think. Is it realted to 'fly posting' in its origin?

MrsBadger · 23/04/2008 14:33

flier

I think

Iklboo · 23/04/2008 14:33

Related not realted

You do realise it's an American term - you know how some people feel about that!
(btw, I don't know but would guess 'y'?)

Flyer is primary, flier an accepted variant

I thought flyer for fly posting, too, Iklboo.

I am currently involved in a mad PTA round-robin type email about flyers/fliers for the summer fair...and suddenly realised I'm the only one writing flyer and not flier. Eek! Have I outed myself as only a wannabee pedant?
