My instinct says this is incorrect… please correct me if I’m wrong but the ‘eat’ doesn’t belong to the kids so why the apostrophe?

Yes, it's wrong. Very jarring.

If it was "Kids' 'Eat for £1 Deal'", where it's a deal for the kids, that would be ok.
But as it stands, the apostrophe is superfluous.

I looked at their site. You can contact them with a complaint. I saw either 'Kid's Easter breakfast' or 'Kids' Easter breakfast' while I was looking and I consider both of those fine. It's the plural 'Kids' eat for £1' which is the problem. Will you contact them?

Yes I did look at their website to see if I could find the offending mistake but I couldn’t. The screen shot above is from an instagram account that shares special offers so I didn’t actually receive the email myself. At least it doesn’t appear to be on their website!
