Mother's Day card win

(Though I'm now questioning the punctuation of Mother's Day Should it be mothers'- pondering that now )
Anyway- I was so happy that DS wrote this in my card, circling "have". I have won at excessive grammar correcting today. 🤣🤣

Personally, I always say it should be Mothers' Day. A day for all the mothers. But I am a lone voice in this, unfortunately!

So I'm glad I questioned it! But can we appreciate my super teaching of my son to say 'have ' instead of 'of' please? 🤣

It should be Mothering Sunday, which removes the apostrophe issue entirely

It's great OP, but rather a shock that we now have to teach them it's NOT 'of'! Is it really more common to say of, rather than have? 😱
