Shocking!

DiaDuit · 16/07/2014 21:41

I thought that was only a MN thing.

Definitely! You may get a discount!

Someone mis-typed the word "bought" substituting the commonly mistaken "brought"? Oh no, civilisation must be coming to an end.

DiaDuit · 16/07/2014 22:01

I'm a wordy pedant and certain mistakes drive me crazy, but this is just a typo. Take a chill pill.

Agree it's not a typo. I've lost count of people who genuinely don't know the difference between the words

CocktailQueen · 16/07/2014 23:20

Yep, bought.
Also, peace of mind doesn't need hyphens.

SingSongSlummy · 16/07/2014 23:20

Dreadful. My 4 year old sometimes makes this mistake, which is a slight improvement on 'brang', but which shall, nevertheless, be eradicated before she is 5, I hope!

Johnogroats · 16/07/2014 23:25

Do it!

kickassangel · 16/07/2014 23:32

typos not acceptable in formal letters to clients anyway

Isabeller · 16/07/2014 23:35

You must.

hellymelly · 16/07/2014 23:40

At least they don't say that you should of brought it. Grin
