Which is correct if you are talking in the past tense?

Led.

PickledFanjoCat · 14/10/2012 11:01

Led is past, yes.

From today's Sunday Times Scotland,

"Wilson, who lead the SNP from 1979 to 1990..."

So is this incorrect?

Well I'd say so but I'm not an advanced pedant Grin

Sunday Times Scotland is wrong. Led is right for past tense. :)

Looks wrong to me.

Led is the past tense of lead.

Unless you're talking about lead the metal, which sounds like "led" but is written "lead".

Thanks all
