Can't anyone here spell counselling?

It is not councilling or councelling or any of the other weird mis-spellings I see on MN daily. Grrrrrr!

I care! I always want to correct the poster, but I guess it doesn't go down well!

I care too. I always spell it correctly, but don't think I can justify correcting anybody else's spelling when it comes up on such emotionally charged threads. I just seethe inwardly like I do with every other badly spelt word.

Or not know the difference between advise - verb, and advice - noun. Grrrrrrr!

firefox spellchecker thinks i've got too many ls, though (US english)
