I make lots of mistakes I'm sure. I didn't do very well at school and I'm still improving my written English as I go along. So..... I'm no smug pedant, honestly.

But please, for my first ever thread in Pedants' corner (and probably my last) can I ask those who talk about relationship councillors to please note that it is family counselling.

Thank you. If I have made any mistakes in my post then I won't be offended if they are pointed out to me.

I suspect that those people who would benefit from pedants' corner have it hidden. It never changes. See lose/loose, etc/ect, apostrophe usage, could of/could have. They don't care.
