As we will be having an outdoor (hopefully) 4th Bday party for DS U usually do mountains of crustless sandwiches and 'baby'stuff but he seems to be growing up fast would you be happy with this offering?

Mini Hot dogs in minibuns (or should I go for chipolata sausages?)
chicken & fish nuggets (brest not nasty reformed stuff)
Curly fries & sweet potato chips
Cherry toms cucumber and carrot sticks
Dips
Hoola hoops & Wotsits
Pizza

Sweetstuff
Ice lollies (Fabs and rocket lollies)
Homemade buns
Cholate fingers & Choc animal biscuits

Cartons of Juice OJ and Apple

As the kid list is currently running at 18 (hopefully half will drop out due to hols) Parents will get Pimms, Potato wedges chips and dips and leftovers..

Happy or horrified?

Sounds good but it is loads. at my DS's 4th party they merely grazed and it was (obviously) the contraband they wanted most! Also, make sure you have some water too, mine wouldn't drink OJ or apple.

I personally wouldn't do as much variety. How about chicken and fish nuggets, and maybe veggie pizzas, with fries, toms cucumber and carrot - I wouldn't bother with crisps as well as chips tbh, and I don't think you need sausages as well as nuggets

sweet stuff - yes to ice lollies, buns and biscuits - but maybe add some fruit into the mix - strawberries, grapes and apple - just a bit?

agree to have water available too as well as juice

Sounds good to me.. Yes I forgot to add grapes and strawberries

Your right though I do tend to overcater? Eyes bigger than my belly as I'll end up eating it all [Grin]

instead of your choc biscuits you could do popcorn cups, they went down a storm at dds 4th birthday, basically filled spotty plastice drinks cups with popcorn!if you keen theres a recipe on good food website but i was overambitious as usual so mine had butterkist in!

We did fruit kebabs - pieces of fruit (strawberries, grapes, kiwi fruit etc) threaded onto thin drinking straws. The whole lot disappeared very quickly!
