I am having a birthday party for dd in the garden provided it is sunny next week.
What party games are suitable (if any) for this age?

I think I;m getting a pinate but I am also putting ride on toys out and doing face painting.

Will tehy concentrate for pass the parcel?

Bubbles are the way forward! They won't care about anything else it there are bubbles.

They probably can concentrate on pass the parcel but maybe not enough to get the enjoyment out of it compared to the effort required.

We do a game, we call it 'dance like a', you just print out lots of pictures, like a frog or butterfly, show one to the kids and shout can you dance like a frog/butterfly? Usually goes down very well!

For DDs 3rd birthday we got a paint your own play house from ELC and the kids really enjoyed doing that too.

Bubbles are a fab idea sock.

I think they'll be happy just playing with garden toys, but you could always have a little sing-song - nursery rhymes and circle songs like Farmer's in his den.
