Party bags for babies and 5-6 yo

What is the "in" thing to give in party bags at the moment?

We're having a bday party for my 1yo and there's a couple of 5&6yo who I'd like to give a party bag to.

I have in my draw:

  • some of these crayon pens that have different coloured lead
  • sticky notes in the shape of pink mouths and blue & blue cars.
  • little bouncy rubber balls.
  • mini plasticine packets
  • mini crayons packets
  • small water pistols (dh bought these...)
  • small plastic recorders (also bought by dh)
  • night garden bubbles

What do you reckon would be more suitable for 5&6 yo??

Also how many items would you put in (there'll be a piece of the cake to take back as well).

Thanks!

My DS1 is nearly 6 and still loves bouncy balls, bubbles and water-pistols. He'd quite like the sticky notes too. You may have to apologise to parents in advance when passing them over though!
If the 5-6 yr olds are boys, the current trend at DS's school is World Cup football cards - cost something like 50p a packet.

Thanks for your mesage,
Oh wow, excellent, tesco gave me a pack of worldcup stickers for free last time I went there! One of them is a boy.

Apologise for the water pistols or the bouncy ball (or both)? I would not have bought the water pistol myself but we have them now so...I'll change the boy's bag to water pistol, stickers and bouncy ball.

Hope it goes well. DS1's party is coming up soon so I understand totally how it can take over!
