Ideas for outdoor party games needed

We're having a party for my son's 2nd birthday on Sunday and are holding it in a local garden sqaure. Fortunately the weather is supposed to be good, but I need some ideas for games that we can play outdoors. Ages of guests will range from 18 months to 6. We won't have access to any music so my usual stock of musical bumps/statues and pass the parcel are out of the window. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!!

Ummm, Simon Says? Who can keep a balloon in the air the longest?

Could still do statues/bumps, just get them to run around then blow a whistle to act as the music stopping..?

Hokey cokey with singing?!

Team relays? Run with a balloon, bean bag, whatever....hopping, skipping, jumping, etc
Obstacle race?

parachute games - you can get one from argos for £9.99, obviously some might be too little to expect any co-ordinated games but them could lift it up, pull it down, crawl on top whilst adults wave it, lie underneath, pass it round and round (hand to hand) whilst singing some songs, bounce balls on top of parachute...

(I'm going to buy one for ds's 4th birthday on Saturday in case the planned games run out too quickly - I have 2 other ds's so it will be well used!)

Hiya, I work at a playgroup for 2 and a half to 4 year olds and the parachute idea is always a winner! also you could buy a giant ball or inflatable beach ball and just play catch: the simpler the better!

we did it today - apparently 4 yr olds find bouncing a teddy bear hilarious!
