I've never been to a hen party before but I feel like poking my nose in and suggesting some activities for my friend's which is coming up soon!

So I was thinking something like Go Ape or clay pigeon shooting for during the day, and then a meal and drinks in the evening of course.

Does anyone have any great ideas of what would be fun to do?

I don't want to have to dress up in traditional hen night slapper stuff so what can I suggest as an alternative that's a bit more classy?!

One hen do I went to was pretty fun. It was in London, so the organisers gave us a list of iconic places to take pictures (e.g. atop a big red bus, in front of the London eye, etc) and a disposable camera. We split up into groups and then raced against time to get as many done as possible. Then had the pictures developed and the entire group voted on the best pictures. It was a lot of fun.

Another hen do had everyone round to the bride's house and had a company in and we all had treatments (e.g. massage, pedicure, etc). The treatments were optional and paid for by the person getting them done. Everyone who wasn't getting a treatment done at the time + those not getting them at all, sat around chatting, drinking wine and having nibbles. Very relaxed, very nice.

Thanks Tarheel, the photo thing sounds fun. I'd like to do something action packed!
