It's my daughter's 1st bday on Sat 8th May and I have no idea what to do for her!
I'm quite a big party person myself so would ideally love to have a big do in a hall etc but funds are pretty tight as am a single parent and have left it a bit late to organise too!
So..............does anyone know of any soft play centres or creches that do childrens parties and the prices?

I have a lot of family and friends and thats why I'd prefer to find a reasonably priced hall so they can all come and celebrate as I know if I do just the little 'kiddies party' all the adults and older children will be upset as they won't be able to attend. But then theres the whole thing of organising caterers for food and buying alcohol too! Oh y do I always leave these things soooo late???
I was thinking maybe I could have a day childrens party at tumble in the jungle (soft play), then back to my flat afterwards so everyone else can have a little knees up!

Any suggestions of halls/private function rooms and soft play centres etc. would be greatly appreciated!
Preferably in Walthamstow/Leyton/Leytonstone as thats closer to me but open to NW London also such as NW10, NW6 as my parents live in there and wouldn't mind helping out too!

Sorry for long post and hope I've made sense!

We did hand prints on ceramics for DS's 1st birthday. Most of his 'friends' were the same age and everyone got to make a keepsake which was nice.

We're not in London but that wort of thing seems quite widespread. Some come to your home and some have you come to their studio.

Worked out quite well as 1st birthdays are mainly for the adults and all the adults got a lovely print of their child's hand or foot to keep

Sounds like a great idea! Thanks GoldenSnitch
Can you remember the name of the company you used?

I had a lady come to my house and I know she's stopped doing parties now. She was in Northampton too.

If you do a google search for hand prints on ceramic you should be able to find somewhere near you.

I found this but I don't know how close to you it is.
