Can anybody recommend a good venue for a 5 year old's birthday party. So far, am thinking about "The Big Apple" at Woking and also, the soft play area at Excel Leisure Centre, Walton. Are there any others?

Heard good things about the soft play at the Big Apple in Walton. My DS1 had a party there and it was good but that was bowling and laserquest. The food was ok though.

Have you been to the softplay at Excel? It is small.

The new one at Leatherhead Leisure Centre is good.

Piglets play barn in Hersham, Egham Leisure Centre, Little Angels in Worplesdon

all very pricey though, Big Apple is £175 for 15 children.

Oh yeah Littel Angels is fab!

CarGirl · 01/04/2010 17:33

Little Angels is huge & noisy and obviously you can't have exclusive play so you never know if it's one of your charges screaming in agony.......

I've heard that the Excel parties are very good. But that the food is rank. I'm thinking of doing a party for my dd there but asking if I can bring in some of my own food.

Food is rank at most - little angels, big apple woking, so don't base it on that.

LOL, indeed I would probably go for what is the cheapest

Thanks everyone....All sound very promising. I will investigate.
