Before I argue with venue - is 2 weeks enough notice to send out invites?

I have booked a venue for ds's 6th birthday party - it's fairly expensive - but not much option around here.

Their package included invites in the price. However I haven't received the pack or invites. Should I moan about it - I did do my own invites last weekend and sent them out - so I don't need their ones anymore anyway. Booked for Sunday 6th March. Post has been this morning - so I wouldn't be getting them out to the school kids this afternoon!

just tell them you made your own your party up to you. by doing it so close friends shoukd know if they can come and you get quick repiles

I would phone to check the party is still on and everything is OK, perhaps point out you have sent your own invites, but not make a fuss about it.
