Ideas needed for ds's 14th party

We're having it at home in a fairly small house and ds wants to invite around 20-24 boys. We're easy going so don't mind the number but ds is concerned about what they will do. Apparently dancing and listening to music is out.

Films and popcorn? I don't know much about Wii's as we haven't got one,but could you arrange a kind of knockout tournament on a Wii or X box or something similar?

Teach them to play poker for matchsticks?

We don't have anything like a wii or xbox either. I've offered party games but it seems he'll be embarrassed by this...
