is a dinner, dance, also want to tell them all that my surname has changed to dp surname though not through marriage, wanted them all to celebrate our bdays and my new surname,we have been together a long time so this means alot to us both.however
It would be £30.00 per head and we will pay for drinks for a little toast for surname, and birthday,is this being unresonable for them to pay to come.

Yes I think it is a bit unreasonable. Why do you have to do it on a boat? Couldn't you just have a (free) party instead at your house?

Yes. £60 a couple and a babysitter to pay for - I'd make an excuse not to come!

The boat has memories for all my friends as we all met our partners etc on one we all used to go out as a large group and had great fun.
But understand what you are saying and will consider it only our house is not big enough to accomadate everyone so may have to rethink
