Tenpin bowling party or laser quest party

Hi, can anybody recommend a particularly good bowling alley for 6/7 year olds in south London/Surrey? Do these parties work well? Do you think that some parents would object to their kids shooting and being shot at laser guns? It doesn't bother me - but I suspect some more right-on parents might not like it? Any advice?

Big Apple in Woking does a good laser quest party. Parents joined in at DS1's.

Our local "Tenpin" bowling alley does a birthday party session on weekend mornings with cosmic light effects, dancing and food. You can pay with Tesco vouchers too.

I'm not in your area, but my DS had a laserquest party for his 7th this year and loved it so much that he wants his 8th there too. One thing to be aware of is that Tenpin have a 4ft height restriction and some 6/7 year old boys would not meet that. This was the reason DS's 7th was at another venue that had an age (over 6s only) rather than a height criteria.

I was also concerned that parents might be uneasy about the whole laser shooting thing, but they all seemed fine about it (or at least were to my face ).
