I am thinking of doing a jewelry making party at home for my DD's 6th birthday (she loves the idea).
I was thinking first get them to make "jewelry box", then two jewelry making activities. Yellow moon sells stretchy cord and packs of beads so bracelets, necklaces made using these would be good for these. I was thinking the box with their "jewels" in would be the party bag (along with a piece of cake/mini choc bar).
Then party tea then dancing in living room/dancing competitions, etc until pick up (DD's other party suggestion was a "Hannah Montana disco" to which I was very ...)
Any tips from anyone who had done a jewelry making party before would be very welcome!
