Would you let your child open their presents before their birthday?

I am just wondering as my DD birthday party is next sat (halloween!) but her birthday isnt til the following wednesday (4th nov). We have to leave by 8am in the week for school and on that wednesday we are going to town after school to get her a build a bear, plus daddy is away in the week so wont see her open presets.

Do I let her open them on the sat/ sun of her party weekend or wait til her birthday when we probably wont have much time!

Yes let her open them when they are given to her at her party.

I would let her open all of the presents from her friends, and probably the ones from Mum and Dad, but might hold onto to a couple of presents for her actual birthday, maybe from grandparents or other relatives.

Yes good thinking!

Not all of them - we save the best ones for the actual birthday so it's not an anticlimax!
