We are going to a wedding evening reception soon of a couple who have lived together for 10 years and have a child. They put a poem in the evening invitation saying that they had everything they needed , and would prefer a donation to their " Wishing Well". Have any of you experienced this ? Do you just put money in anon , or in a card , or ? My DH feels its a bit cheeky , and doesnt like the idea of giving money , he would rather buy a gift. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly received.

Agree with your DH, buy a gift.
