would your 5/6 yr old ds go to a HSM party?

hi, i'm organising a 5th birthday party for dd3 and thinking of having a HSM party. i know all the girls would love it, but would the boys think it too girly?
are 5 yr old boys into HSM or is it just a girl thing??
your thoughts please

full on hsm or just themed napkins?

DS1 (8) - yes he's has them on DVD and likes them alot.

DS2 (6) - would rather eat his own eyeballs.

nah have been to one the boys like it, make sure there are some sporty bits for hte boys

Having said that about my 6yo - i would definitely go for it - it is her party after all. And the boys in it are cool enough (for a 5yo).

my ds is 9 and he still loves them and watches them all the time. he'd have no problem with it - it's very acceptable in his class by boys and girls (except one tuff boy)

2 of my 3 dds would hate it, the 3rd might be OK but isn't a fan. not all girls love HSM.

DS is 5 and knows about HSM but has never watched it at all. He'd be fine with an HSM party though I'm sure.

DD is 7y and would still enjoy it; she and er friends love HSM. DD had a HM dance party for her 6th birthday and noone complained about the theme, neither children nor parents.

There were only a couple of biys and they were fine. There a few boys i my Y1 class who like HSM, but plenty of others not so keen,

I reckon you do what your DD choses - her party after all.

its going to be a full on HSM theme, going to book childrens entertainers who do it all for you. party games, HSM dances etc, it sounds fab just wanted to know what the boys would think.

Ah now - My DS2 who wouldn't sit and watch the film would love to join in dances (even now i catch him in front of Boogie Pete).
