Help birthday present for 8 year boy for tomorrow

My son has a last minute invite to a party tomorrow. The boy will be 8 all we know is that he is into football he already has the strip,boots,ball etc etc, struggling to think of what to give him. Is clothes a naf present or money in the card? Any ideas would be grateful. Thanks in advance

Lego is always a good one - there is usually a set to suit your pocket and Toy R Us for example, often have special offers on.

How much are you hoping to get away with spending?

Lego is a good idea, my son is big into lego and he is same age probably going to spend no more than £10 - £15.I was thinking of a voucher as well but probably isn't very exciting to open. Thanks for the advice
