DD will be 16 at half term - mid GCSEs, so need a 'controlled' celebration. We're thinking of a 'dinner party' for 10/12 - one of her friends is helping me organise this - and I'd be glad for any ideas to make it a bit special.
Things are a bit up and down with her boyfriend at the moment, and together with the stress of exams, I'd like to make sure she enjoys her birthday.
It would be at home, and there would be an open invitation to the kids to stay over.
