Are there any girl superheroes - apart from Steph??

My girls have to dress as superheroes for a fund raising event in school in May. All I can think of is ones for boys, but the only girl one is Steph from Lazy Town (both my girls HATE Lazy Town). Does anyone know of any other girl superheroes?

There is a cartoon character called Atomic Betty, according to the theme tune she is going to save the world. Can't get much more super than that!
