Ideas to entertain young children at a wedding?

We've got a loooooad of kids (mostly under 8) potentially coming to our wedding in May, and whilst we're hoping it's going to be an mainly outdoor thing if the weather's good, I'm wondering if we can do/hire anything to keep the littlies happy. We have a 2and a half year old DS and a 6 month old DS, but the toddler is quite full on and hectic and might have all kinds of melt down if there aren't things to occupy him.

Any ideas?

table with colouring books and crayons
bouncy castle
soft play equipment (you can hire these)
bubble machine
a few balls/hoops to play with
a few outdoors bits of garden stuff i.e. trikes, seesaw etc
sand pit (nice clothes may be an issue!)
balloons - kids love 'em
entertainer
hire a cpl of staff from the local playgroup to keep kids busy (my friend done this and it worked so well!)

cheers - some really good ideas! Like the idea of hiring somebody (although trying to do this on a fairly tight budget!)

loads of balloons - a bubble machine and lots of colouring in stuff - print off pics from cbeebies website (or similar) and get a few boxes of crayons.

you could do every child a kiddy party bag with colouring book, pencils, balloon, bubbles, etc just to keep them busy!

Handcuffs

we went to a wedding and DS was given a bag of goodies at the start of the reception full of stuff (all the stuff sowhat has mentioned)

Only joking.
At SIL wedding, every child had a lovely party bag with colouring pad and pencils, bubbles, cuddly toy, puzzle etc etc. They also had a childrens entertainer, which the adluts loved too. A few magic tricks and a puppet work wonders!

yes we went to a wedding last year and the 2 dcs were given goody bags with sweets and small toy in - car for ds, can't remember what dd got
ds (4) also spent a lot of time using up all the piccies on the disposable camera left in the middle of our table
