That's it really ... looking to beg/borrow/steal your ideas or experiences!

Got about 15 girls to entertain for 2.5 hours in our largish living room.

Will do some kind of craft activity, some games
Tea etc

Any ideas how to make it special?

Had thought of doing a game themed to each of the songs from the movie but that's as far as I've got! And not sure if I can come up with them or not!... any inspiring ideas for some games which fit?

just a suggestion you could do a kareoke type thing for each of the songs and award a prize.

Have you got the 'sing a long' version of the DVD, to avoid arguments about the lyrics?

What about that (hen night) game where you dress someone as a bride, out of loo rolls?

Greek food

The great thing about being 8 is they love every thing, dancing, singing, making things and still enjoy traditional games. Pass the parcel to one song and make the prize related,Remember what happens next to part of the film, musical bumps to another song, all girls could lrean one dance scence in the movie. Also a trivia quiz about the film and maybe try and get some prizes that are related in some way.For a craft activity design a costume for the film with lots of scrap materials etc or design a posters but 15 kids is quite alot for craft activity but if your organsied its possiable.Hope this helps.

Money money money - coin treasure hunt wiht 1ps
The winner takes it all - the chocolate game? (eat choc with knife and fork and gloves?)

I know it's a bit late but thought I'd pop back to say thanks for the ideas and tell you what we did.

Craft - decorate notebooks with bits to look like Donna's diary.
Pin the flowers on pic of Sophie
Guess how many choc coins in a jar (Money Money Money)
Pass the parcel with forfeits to win a sweet (Winner takes it all)
chocolate game
Mamma Mia Bingo (put in Mamma Mia and birthday words and used a website to do it.)
Musical bumps

Make a fab cake in the Mamma Mia colours and put 70s style barbie boots/shoes/handbags on.

Food was normal party fare. Decorated the room with lots of pics printed off the internet.

DD had a blast.
