AAAAARRRGH I CAN'T SEW AND WHY DO I ALWAYS THINK I'M GOING TO BE ABLE TO

RIGHT i CANNOT make an alien costume for ds's 5th birthday party and am going to have to buy one. This is a reasonable conclusion BUT WHY DID I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL 5 HOURS BEFORE THE PARTY TO REACH IT?

When does Toys R Us open? Do they have space-related costumes? Do they do costumes at all? They must do, mustn't they?

I can cook, a bit - I've made the cake myself - I've personally bought the Dr Oetker icing - I have quite a few friends - I have just calmed dh out of a massive weeping/panicking episode - it's all right not to be able to sew, isn't it?

i wonder if i can somehow get this thread to email itself to me in 11 months' time so that i REMEMBER i can't sew next year

with any luck next year costumes will be so like over, anyway.
