Home alone with DS & dog (DH is working in a sometimes hot, dusty country a few thousand miles away) so it'll be a couple of glasss of wine and an early night for me.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 30/12/2008 18:54

I'm going to a fancy dress party where some people will be wearing lederhosen.

Bet you're jealous now!

Going out with some girl friends on the town. First time for ages on NYE so really looking forward to it. Need a good new year snog as I've had a crap time recently romantically.

It is my birthday. We are going out for the day but haven't decided where yet.

Nice of you to all celebrate on my behalf though

eandh · 30/12/2008 19:22

at home still deciding whether to go and buy steak to cook for dinner or get a takeaway, dd's will be in bed as normal and dh and I wont be seeing in midnight as DH need to be up at 4.45am on new years day to go to work!

BONKERZ · 30/12/2008 19:29

having karaoke in conservatory and wii tournaments in lounge, lots of yummy buffet food and huge jugs of cocktails, fireworks at midnight! Have a few friends and family coming over so should be a good night!

hockeypuck · 30/12/2008 19:58

aaaaahhh not much you know!

Just going to the home of a multi-millionnaire for a major schmoozing party with lots of important and hot people

just the usual, you know how it is when you move in my circles

Actually, it's my first NYE out in over 7 years - I can't wait. For once I have somewhere to go, although I think it may all be a little bit grand for little old me, but I will do all I can to fit in - it's a tough job but someone has to drink all that free champagne after all

At home with a Thai takeaway, some champagne and my DH.

stillenacht · 30/12/2008 20:01

bugger all - don't like NYE
Used to love it as achild as my parents and us all used to go out to firneds houses and they would get pissed and we would play upstairs - all good fun

With DS2 who has autism we can't really do the family party thing as his routine - he would never last til 12 etc so i will be spending NYE listening to fireworks and praying they won't wake up DS2. Bah humbug!

brimfull · 30/12/2008 20:02
