I need a few for girls and boys (about 18 in total). Most are around 4 & 5.

I have thought of the balloon game and egg and spoon.

Are there any others that don't require loads of space and equipment?

Good one is get a piture and put it onto card, then ut it out into a jigsaw of aroun 20 pieces or so.
Have teams of 4 children in each, eah child has to run to end of hall, pick up a piece of jigsaw an run back with it. Then (relay style) the nexr child can go and collect a piece. Meanwhile the other children try and complete the jigsaw. First team to complete the jigsaw wins!

Another good one is (again in teams) get children to put on a hat and gloves, then run to a table where there is a bar of chocolate on a plate. they have to pick up a knife and fork and each a piece of choc before running back.

We have had massive success with flap a fish with newspaper and cut out tissue paper fish.

Also DS2 at his gym class plays games where they have to eg bunny hop/skip/frog jump to the end and then run/hop etc back. Teams of 4, first to finish wins.

Mummy game where they wrap an adult in cheap loo paper is very funny.

Flour game - pack bowl with flour, turn out, put jelly baby on top, everyone has to take spoon of flour until it collapses - whoever made it do that has to eat jelly baby (no hands).

We could have played that for half an hour!

Thanks, yes flap a fish was a favourite when I was a child.

duck duck goose or whatever it is - where they form a circle and then one person goes round saying duck duck duck and when he says goose that person has to chase them round the outside of the circle and back to their space.

Have described that badly but you know the one all the 5 year olds play it at school.
