DS's party is at our house, after school tonight. Little boy who is invited is off school today with conjunctivitis - mum said it's up to me whether I want him at the party or not. I said not - thinking that conj. is very infectious and wouldn't be fair to expose children (mine and others) to it, especially as ill child isn't allowed at school with it.
Am I being fair? Party will involve buffet, crafts with many opportunities to mingle fingers, and a choc fountain.
I feel very sad for the poorly boy, but wouldn't want enable anybody else to catch it, especially the week before school parties, concert etc.
