We're having some friends round for NYE this year as most of us now have babies / children and can't go out. There will be DH and I and five others. We were just planning to have a simple dinner, then booze and games, but one couple is insistant that we have a 'theme' (they are the one's that don't have children obv!). Anyone have any ideas? I don't want to have to spend a lot of money on the night as we'll have just forked out for xmas - something where we can just wear our own most fabulous outfit would be ideal - any ideas anyone?

We've just decided to do a Ready Steady Cook night! Means you don't have to pay for everything and cook everything too!

Cluedo night. By the board game and everyone come as a character - one peson will have to be Dr Black (the one who's been killed) and that can be the person who hates playing cluedo the most (me!) and just get quietly sozzled in the corner (why are most games 2 - 6 players)

nice idea Walleroo, but I don;t think they really want to spend the night cooking. Like the Iklboo idea, but everyone would want to play. Had thought about a casino night, but don't know how to play poker - can only play Rummy and BlackJack!
