Am starting to think about party in early Jan, and what to do. We've been to about 6 this term - swimming, skating, animal (complete with owl and snake) etc. Most successful ones seem to involve exercise as otherwise they all get a bit hyper. DTs - one girl, one boy - are in different classes, which are currently only of 15 kids in each, but by Jan classes will have 30 each in. I can't handle 60 kids. So we're aiming on asking 30. Does anyone know of anyone in north London who does dance parties - not ballet - but disco routine stuff for 5 yr olds? Am I mad? Would it just be easy to get a traditional entertainer? All advice v gratefully received.

North London......I am based in North Finchley and would suggest

a) Perform - an entertainer can be booked for £140 to entertain for an hour at a venue of your choice & they have a huge range of "themes" to choose from.

b) Active Kids - sport/game based parties.

c) One of the bigger soft play areas i.e. Topsy Turvy @ Brent Cross, Clown Town @ Friern Barnet

d) Talk to a local soccer school - many of the younger "football" parties are game based and the football elements can be reduced to the minimum so it works for both girls & boys.

Hope something on here helps.

I know a company who do high school musical parties. Not been to one yet, but am going in a couple of weeks - if you're interested, I'll dig out the details and then I can let you know in a fortnight if it's any good .

Sorry, should have mentioned, I'm in North London, so these people will come to you if you're interested.

Thanks Jigger & tbkand3. Like the sound of active kids, but I can't find them online. Do you go to them or do they come to your hall etc? All info v gratefully received.
