peeled grapes make good eyeballs.

I remember playing this as a child. I think the things were just passed around as we sat in the dark and a mum told a scary story about the body parts.

My Mum used to do it by turning off all the lights and getting everyone to sit in a circle before telling a story about how she went to Tutankamuns tomb and brought his Mummy home, and here are his.....(passes round disgusting objects as listed).
Then you can really gross them out by loudly eating whatever it is when it gets back to you.

It's poncetastic, but if you can get some quails' eggs from the supermarket, boiled and peeled they make good eyeballs.

Chop up spaghetti into 1-inch lengths, boil, cool and stir in a bit of oil to make it slimy - makes a bucket of maggots.

You can also get bags of body-part sweets in supermarkets at the mo - I have a bag of jelly eyes, toes, fingers and ears to hand out tonight think I got them at waitrose.

Sausages as fingers. My mum used to do this and it was fantastic! There was some story made up that you were an explorer bringing artefacts back for the museum. Don't think the story matters too much!

Half an orange. As long as they don't touch the peel. It feels like the end of a chopped off limb. Apparently

Boiled rice in water with cornflour to thicken it.

Stick lengths of cotton thread to the top of the box. Nothing worse than that 'cobwebby' feel.

pasta shapes for bones ,a bowl of bread and water for something horrible,brillo pad for scaly witch skin !!!

Peeled grapes are god eyeballs too.
