hired the party bus. Twas fab, kids loved it, no mess inhouse. Bus parked right outside our house.

am being booring and doing play centre party, cause I have no time to do anything myself at the moment, so fairy party courtesy of play centre it is.

Was just about to start a very similar thread as my niece really needs to have some sort of party (as she's not settling at school, apparently because she's not managing the social aspects of it - making new friends/ joining in) but she's gone all scaredy timid so a soft play type thing might not work.

Looking forward to hearing any suggestions!!

No theme - balloons and streamers etc; birthday lunch, followed by a few games and a treasure hunt, then free play (lucky with the weather - outside for some of the time). They all seemed to have a good time.

Her 5th was a swimming party at my parent's house.

Not done ds's 5th yet. I'd like it to be a drama party as we are going to be running them but I think he'd prefer to take a few friends on a steam train trip.
