Does anyone know what the 'traditional' gift is for a 3rd wedding anniversary?

As in, the first anniversary is paper (I think), the fifth is wood (?), apart from that, I have no idea.

It will be our 3rd in a few weeks and I want to maybe do a traditional thing. Dh and I don't go mad for huge gifts but would like to do something. Anyone? Much obliged.

Tradition is Leather, Modern is Crystal/Glass

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Snooks! It's leather (you might be sorry you asked!) . Google "3rd wedding anniversary" and it brings up lots of gift ideas.

oh thanks both of you - good list matnanplus - hmmm, it does seem to get more expensive as the years pass - and more bizarre: 17th = furniture (what? like a 3-piece suite), 24th = musical instruments

ok lilolil, leather or crystal or glass, will have to have a think (and a google)
