DS1s 3rd birthday party on sunday and the first one where we are having a childrens party! Last year and year before we had a tea party with parents gparents gtgparents etc. (Lucky he had that last year as we had all been very sick all that week including my ds!) Anyway this year having a little party at a little park that has a minature railway that children ride on. DS1 loves it there as do all his friends plan to spend so much on tickets for the children to go on the rides! Also savoury nibbles and cakes etc with party bags to take home. Does that sound ok? Very worried about the weather! Any tips greatly appreciated getting rather nervous! Will be about 10 children mostly 2-4 years plus lots of adults!

If it's a park with a little bit of open space then you could plan a few games as a bit of a back up plan. Like the Hokey Kokey and things like that so you can launch into a game if there is a quiet minute.
