A bouncy castle for her first birthday party - seriously? Sounds like a lot for a one year old?

But, would suggest for party bags - balloon, bubbles, sweets and a slice of cake!

Ok then - how about some party games - pass the parcel, musical bumps, whats the time mr wolf - all good fun.

If you have space you could also get a parachute thing which they love running under. Good for babies too as they can lie under it.

How about a paddling pool?

Piles of toys and space to play with them. Other children to interact with. Lovely
Then a proper party tea, with jelly and icecream and a nice cake!!

Or another thing which goes down well is a craft thing - you could do a glueing and sticking activity or something similar - nice for them to have some calm quiet time too!

How about hiring soft play for the babies and toddlers and/or entertainer to cover all age groups?

Try:

www.tippeetoes.co.uk

The soft play isn't featured on their website but I know they have a new range in.

Good luck!

bubble machine and parachute go down v well at our toddler group

can you set up pile of toys, maybe bikes and trikes outside and just let them play?

i'd just do pass the parcel and maybe hokey kokey as "games". Play music and let them dance.

I'd keep party bags very simple - maybe a book? Or bubbles? Or a juice bottle from asda?
