DD12 wants a cinema party....local cinema do not offer such a thing....how would you organise it yourself? obviously pay for entrance and give them some food to eat and drink from the shop? just give her a bag of stuff to take (smuggle) in with her.....not bother with cinema food at all and go to McDonalds after?......I hasten to add our DD does NOT want us to go and watch the file with her.....

I would take them, pay, buy them popcorn and then go for a pizza or something. I'd tell mine she does not have the option of my not going too, I'm not just a wallet and if I am responsible for the well being of otgher children who are not mine thne I need to be in the building (if not in the actual film).

Lots of cinemas so Sat am kids films that are cheaper. Although depends on whether they're too young for her.

And I would stipulate "I will be buying one medium popcorn between 2" or whatever otherwise the pick n mix/popcorn will end up costing you more than the tickets.

My friend did this. They got paid in, a little bag of pick and mix or an ice cream then went to MacDonalds after. The staff at MacD's were lovely. Friend had taken a cake in and the staff brought it over, cut it up and handed it out.
