Triple birthday celebration

My son turns 11 in the middle of November.

He has just been invited to a joint party at the very end of November (yes… 2.5 months in advance) and it is for his friends L and E.

He is very good friends with L and has had a joint party with him before. He is less friendly with E but has been to a few of his birthdays.

The invite list is broadly the exact friends he would invite to his party.

Could I ask both mums if we could turn it into a triple birthday celebration or is that silly? The timing is pretty much when we would have my son’s party.

No, I wouldn't. Let your ds have his own party when it is his actual birthday.

If they wanted a joint party with you I feel like they would have contacted you before hand. It’ll be nice for the friends to attend a separate party for your son doing something different.

edited to say, have your party the weekend before your sons birthday if the other party in end of Nov so there’s a good gap!

Perhaps do an early November party and pair it with Bonfire Night celebrations. S'mores, hot dogs, fireworks etc..

I’d just have whatever he’d have on the weekend closest to his actual birthday.
