Where would you choose to hold a naming celebration?

Hey, I am starting a new venture as a Naming Celebrant and wanted to ask mums, where they would want to have a naming celebration?

If you've had one, where did you hold it (generic info only, for example, back garden, church hall, coffee shop or town hall. Please don't add any specifics including identifiable information).

And also what did you love about the celebration or feel could have improved the experience.

Thank you in advance!

Years ago, so not outing, but we had one in the town hall where my DCs parental guardians were living. We had no ties to the place we lived in as we were relocating overseas and only there for work. So the city my DCs parental guardians were in had more choices for a late lunch after the ceremony and a place to buy some special cupcakes to eat later in the afternoon. Plus we could take some lovely photos at the beach and an historical building.

Also the celebrant let my DC chose their own songlist to play during the ceremony which was hilarious - it ranged from Doris Day "Don't eat the daisies" to Sham 69 "Hurry up Harry". 😂😂😂

It was a top day!
