I know, I know. Totally vomit-worthy. But DD1 has just discovered the Daisy Meadows fairy books and is determined to have a Rainbow Fairies party for her sixth birthday.

I've found a couple of activities on the website which we can use. But has anyone seen any colourful fairy merchandise that might make our lives easier?

And what about the boys?!? Do you reckon they'll still come if we make it "fairies and goblins"? Her oldest friend is a boy and she is not going to leave him out!

DD3 wants a fairies party too. I was wondering about the boys as well - fairies and elves maybe?
Book People and Red House both have big packs of the books very cheap that you can split for party bags.
The only paperware I have found so far is the Disney Fairies stuff from Party Pieces.
Will post with anything else I find though.

Smithagain - do I know you?! Do I have a child coming to this party?!

Sorry - can't help on the fairy front though. But if we are coming to this party (next week???!) I look forward to seeing you!

PS If this is not you, please accept my apologies, I am not a wierd stalker like wierdo person, honest.

WHSmith have fairy magic stationery. We did this for my dd's 7th a couple of years ago. We just had all the usual games but fairy magic themed.

Fairies and pirates seem to work well together for some reason!

I did a Rainbow magic fairies themed sleepover with a Rainbow Guide Unit last year. We did crafts/played games loosely based on the theme - so sleeping lions becomes sleeping fairies. One of the crafts they enjoyed was decorating a fairy treasure chest (which could very easily be a pirate chest!). We gave them each an ice-cream tub (sadly, empty) and all the cutting and sticking materials we had. They then used this to take all their treasures home.
