Casual party/get together for DD

I'm thinking of having a few girls from DD class over during the holidays for a wee get together nothing fancy. The age range is 7-8/9. Im thinking pizza, karaoke, candy floss and snow cones. Anything else that's kept them entertained that's been a hit? Or am I mad??

Some kind of craft activity often goes down well.

If it's still this hot having a sprinkler/splash pad/water fight.

Movie night (with popcorn and pic n mix).
