Am considering it as a venue for forty or so slightly pissed-up and desperate thirtysomething mummies who don't get out much.

I've only ever sat outside it at the traffic lights and seen lots of people spilling out of it pissed and loud.

Think it would suit pissed-up and desperate just fine!
