Children's party bags

Anyone have any ideas on children's party bags? We've got 20ish children attending a 3rd birthday party in May.
I'm looking for something simple, all the same, one thing wrapped up.
I've seen single bags of 'cup cake mix' which look cute. Just wondering what others have done instead of the normal plastic random stuff.

I think the books you can get on offer in the works are always popular, no plastic and likely to be used. Or maybe some play dough type thing or colouring book and mini crayons.

You can get crafts set / paint set from hobby store. Or you can get sweet cones.

Do you have a theme party ? Then something related to that. A cheap board game perhaps.
